LARRGE Guide for Download

The LARRGE Guide provides an overview of 60 excellent human and labour rights based CSR tools currently used on the European and the global level.

It aims at guiding companies and CSR practitioners through the jungle of human rights impact assessments, self-assessments, toolkits, guidelines, codes of conduct, matrices, CSR management systems, etc. and helps them to identify the tools that best fit their specific needs. As a special feature it includes also practical company and user feedback on the tools. LARRGE users are invited to further contribute their expertise via the commenting feature and to promote ongoing dialogue.

The LARRGE research results offer recommendations for entrepreneurs, tool developers as well as for future EU policy directions.

LARRGE is the product of a sixteen months' research project, conducted by an international human rights research team composed of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM, Vienna), the Danish Institute for Human Rights, and the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics (University of Birmingham). It was funded by the European Commission's PROGRESS Programme, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth.

The LARRGE Guide shall be updated regularely. These PDF versions contain the latest findings as of June 2010. For ongoing updates, please consult the LARRGE Guide fulltext version, which may also be converted into PDF.
